Adjustment Layer and a Smart Filter and Mask

Not a Griz

Taken in Yellow Stone

No this is not the Griz I thought it was when I first found it, and I don't think I can count Yellow Stone as in the wild. Every time I do see a bear in the wild I hardly ever have my camera, and when I do it is not what I am pointing at it. This photo was very bury so I added the adjustment layer twice to darken it, then I used the mask to brighten it up the grass, and left the log and the river and bear dark. This helped a lot next I used the brush stroke color pencil smart filter to hide the rest of the blur on the grass. I think it cleaned up well.

  1. I like the way you cleaned up this picture. You wouldn't know that the picture wasn't clear in the first place.
